Treat the backstory of the founder as it were a Hollywood biopic
Working with Christopher Bailey. Leading all our internal creative, marketing, media, retail, and digital teams.
Over 4 years of gradually introducing storytelling into all Burberry activity, they were eventually convinced it was time to brave the greatest story the brand had never told: its own.
A trailer to a movie never made
Working directly with our chosen scriptwriter, director and film producer, and cleverly condensing an entire movie script into just its 4 minute trailer, we achieved Hollywood-level production values at a fraction of the budget.
All British A-List talent
Essential to the Hollywood feel was the cast.

Lily James and Twitter want a full movie
“I want there to be a full movie. And with the amount of footage we shot, I’m sure they could have made a film. We invested in the characters, and it was shot like a normal film.”
The actor isn’t the only person wanting a feature-length film based on the short: numerous Tweeters have spoken about their wish for the rest of the footage to be released.
